Life must be filled up

Another one I've pinched from coughingbear and I think it's come out rather well.

Sounds better than 'How lovely are thy branches' or even (waves at sloopjonb) It shrouded oft the martyred dead. Here's ours:



The bookroom has its own tree together with tastefully disposed seasonal books BUT although I took the pic in the dark, the flash makes everything look like daylight and you can't really see the tree. Where have I gone wrong, photography experts?

Goodness, this is more posts in one day than I usually manage in a week. I am absolutely furious to have received just now an email from Amazon telling me I can get goods in time for Christmas by ordering before the 19th. I STILL haven't got the order which was allegedly despatched to me on the 8th! That's two very angry messages they've had from me today.
