    We lived there when Rosie was a baby and I was working nearby. I had read all the books by then (Emma for A Level, the others out of choice) but I don't think I had read any biographies or letters…

    I lived in Steventon, briefly. My grandmother, who loved Jane Austen possibly even more than I do, was thrilled :)
