Total chic

It being a typically cold and wet bank holiday Sunday with no chance of gardening, I recorded Charade to watch later.
1963. Paris. Cary Grant. Audrey Hepburn (clothes by Givenchy).

I love those little coats with three quarter sleeves.

I haven't seen it. Hope you enjoy it and I like those coats, too.
Thank you. Nice icon!
Oh fab! I love them too especially with gorgeous gloves!
Absolutely! I really have a thing about gloves.
It's a wonderful movie. Jon is a big Cary Grant fan, and this is one of his favorites. Audrey Hepburn is lovely in it as well.
I didn't think the film was that good but it's a pleasure just to look at those two. I *love* Cary Grant!
I like those coats too. I have an original fifties cherry brandy pink velvet swing coat with three quarter sleeves and a reproduction black swing jacket with three quarter sleeves.
*is jealous*. Way back I did have very neat Courrèges inspired navy coat which was very similar. It came from Wallis, which was brilliant for coats in those days.
I won't tell you I found the pink velvet one in the back of a dusty bookshop for £10 then ..

Your coat sounds gorgeous! I have a burgundy velvet Biba (modern Biba mind you) reefer jacket with matching dress. I paid a fair bit for the two pieces and patent Biba boots, but forgot that sitting in velvet is a no go so have barely worn it.
Yes, love the fashions. Maybe it's the necklines, but then Audrey had a very good neck.
She was so thin! And in that film she's always eating.
