Mr Perfect Isn't Quite

Chris Evans' guest this morning is Hugh Laurie, so they're playing lots of tracks from his album. Sickeningly multi-talented and obviously a very nice man but: IMO he can't sing.
Take the song getting most airplay, You Don't Know My Mind. Now imagine Steve Winwood or Eric Burden singing it and it's obvious. It's like me trying to sing one of Adele's songs. I could get all the right notes and even in the right order but it would be a rubbish performance in comparison with hers.

Now I will duck from all HL fans and admirers.
