Not Over 'til It's Over

This rogue foxglove has decided September is as good a month as any to flower. It's about two feet high.

Beautiful. I think one of the best sounds in the world is the sound of a bee flying into a foxglove flower.
I didn't hear them! I love to watch them busying into the flower.

Foxgloves are so nostalgic - they grew in a little clearing, near the chestnut trees, and I once tried to fit a few blossoms onto the paws of my cat's kittens
I love them and don't mind how much they seed themselves around. They're easy to move, too.
