wie treu sind deine Blätter!

Sounds better than 'How lovely are thy branches' or even (waves at sloopjonb) It shrouded oft the martyred dead. Here's ours:

The bookroom has its own tree together with tastefully disposed seasonal books BUT although I took the pic in the dark, the flash makes everything look like daylight and you can't really see the tree. Where have I gone wrong, photography experts?
