Good old reliable Penstemon ‘Garnet’. Yes, I know it should be called ‘Andenken an Friedrich Hahn’ but who bothers? Gaura ‘Rosyjane’. I have lots of these and white ones, too, all grown from cuttings. I love it. Platycodon (Balloon Flower). These are usually blue. I’m pleased with this because I rescued it from one of my pots last year, when it looked completely dead. A pretty little geranium with tiny flowers. I think this one is ‘Orkney Gem’. It’s almost like an Erodium. Lychnis coronaria. Although it’s so common, I wouldn’t be without this plant for its wonderful splash of colour. I have the white one, too. This is a very pink month; there are lots more pink flowers including some of the foxgloves, which are still flowering.
